Downtown

Of course, we take Bear ๐Ÿป ๐Ÿพ everywhere ๐Ÿ˜

A quick drive by through downtown Mesa Arizona. Of course, we pass food trucks, stands, tire shop taco shops, ๐Ÿคญ, gas station tacos, and different cultures of food. The first stop was the empanada restaurant; I’d been craving that for a couple days ๐Ÿ˜‰ โคต๏ธ

REPรšBLICA EMPANADA damn delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹ word! THAT was delicious! We ate in the car, which I never do, but…hey ๐Ÿ˜ณ we had our dog, Bear, with us, so we scratched the sit-down inside idea.

While waiting, I checked out the artwork outside…

The FOOD! โคต๏ธ

Chicken empanada
I got the fig mozzarella, my daughter got the Nutella banana sweet ones.
As for savory, I got the pernil, she got the popper ham & cheese (jalapeรฑo).

Pernil ๐Ÿ˜‹
Nutella banana, while driving ๐Ÿš— ๐Ÿ˜‹
Jalapeรฑo ham & cream cheese ๐ŸŒถ๐Ÿง€ ๐Ÿ˜‹ she said they’re not whimpy about the Jalapeรฑo either ๐Ÿคญ aka the popper

Then, onto Farmer’s Market. Spotted that sign! As usual, I got some good raw unfiltered honey ๐Ÿฏ ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ , and a loaf of jalapeรฑo cheddar bread.

We peeked into Mesa Urban Garden; it looked really nice.

There’s a big grill and picnic tables, where they hold some events.

That made for a nice day ๐Ÿฅฐ ๐ŸŒ„ โœจ๏ธ

Oh, and music underfoot ๐Ÿ˜‰๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽต

But then…downtown is full of art, of all kinds ๐ŸŽจ ๐Ÿ–Œ
