Cream Cheese and Scallion Wontons

Another easy DELICIOUS thing to make that, imho, doesn’t need a recipe. Finely chopped scallions, green onions, or chives, and stir into cream cheese. I didn’t measure that. It was a scoop… less than a cup. I’ll also say I’ve added crabmeat to this in the past that are really good, too. Wonton wrappers, cream cheese, and scallion. I put about a tbsp of cream cheese mixture in the center of wonton, fold, and sealing edges, whether that be in a fan shape or a purse/bag shape.. they all turn out well. Lay on plate while oil heats. Drop in enough hot oil (med/high) that they float, and fry until desired golden color. Using a spider or spoon with holes, transfer to a paper towel lined plate. Serve with your favorite sweet and sour sauce. This time, we really liked Panda Express Sweet Chili Sauce. We LOVE these! 😍
