Ingredients
β€’ 1⁄2 cup butter, melted
β€’ 1 cup white sugar
β€’ 2 eggs
β€’ 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
β€’ 1 teaspoon lemon juice
β€’ 1 3⁄4 cups all-purpose flour
β€’ 1 teaspoon baking soda
β€’ 1 teaspoon baking powder
β€’ 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
β€’ 1⁄2 cup sour cream
β€’ 1⁄2 cup chopped walnuts
β€’ 2 medium bananas, mashed

Instructions
β€’ Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C) and grease a 9Γ—5 inch loaf pan.
β€’ In a large bowl, mix the butter and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs, vanilla, and lemon juice and whisk until well combined.
β€’ In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
β€’ Add the dry ingredients to the butter and egg mixture and stir gently until just combined. Then, stir in the mashed bananas, sour cream, and walnuts.
β€’ Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center of the loaf.

Notes
β€’ Use overripe bananas. The blacker the peel, the better. These mushy bananas give off a much sweeter flavor.
β€’ Measure the flour properly. Don’t pack your measuring cup because you might end up with too much. Use a spoon to place your dry ingredients into the measuring cup. Then, use the back of a knife to level it.
