Recipe adapted from Hank Shaw at Honest Food

I’ve been making salmon patties for years, but I’ve always used canned salmon. This time, I wanted to make them using fresh salmon and found this recipe. Although I made changes, you can follow that or mine. It’s about preferences. I did cook mine halfway because the canned is cooked, and I didn’t want to take any chances. I’m sure it’d be fine. That’s just me 😉 This way, I can fry them up quickly.
Other changes with mine are that I did not use dill or bread. I used a cup of pulverized cracker crumbs (I prefer the taste with fish), a whole egg, and heavier on the onions. I seasoned with Redmond Real Salt and fresh cracked black pepper. That’s it. I saved his website, though, because it has a lot of other good information and recipes. HONEST FOOD. I served it with potatoes and onions, along with some Mexican elote style corn on the cob.
They turned out great! 👌😋
