– of course on weeknights or when tired 🥱😴 you can use a large jar of your ‘favorite’ (GOOD) sauce/marinara,HOWEVER, keep in mind, ClassicHomemademarinara – like NYT Cooking is almost as fast and tastes immeasurably better than even the best supermarket sauce — and it’s made with basic pantry ingredients.
Other than Cento Italian San Marzano tomatoes 🍅 Hunt’s makes a difference! It’s a family “thing”, tradition (a dash of sugar balances out the tin flavor). What can I say? Family is Sicilian 🤷♀️ & I taste the difference; maybe websites/foodies are “acting” haute? What’s important is that it tastes delicious to YOU. I filled this pan so high the lid almost didn’t fit 🍝I LOVE bucatini! It’s like fat spaghetti, but better; it’s hollow thru center…holds the sauce 🤩Damn Delicious 😋
