There are a lot of recipes for this. The link above is easy to follow, with pictures and video. Lovely blog 😊 A couple notes; I prefer legs and thighs, on the bone, but my daughter bought boneless thighs, so make it work 😉 I used chicken broth in place of water for more flavor. I never use seed oils; I use ghee, avocado oil, olive oil, or tallow. And I like adding a couple (🤭) pats of butter at the end of cooking time. I do like butter 🥰 and bacon fat, in other recipes. 🥓

I am blessed to have a couple of different Middle Eastern markets right across the street from me 🙏 I like both stores for different things. Turmeric is one. And Baiz Market (Baiz Fresh Foods) makes fresh flatbreads (pita, naan, roti, etc..) every day! And much more 😍 love that store.

I “was” going to make my own roti, especially after watching a 5 year old (video below) do it 🤭 so cute! However, with a fresh Middle Eastern bakery across the street❓️ I’ll do that when or if there’s a time I can’t buy it like that. Roti ⤵️

I go light on the coriander/cilantro. My granddaughter hates it 🙄 but the little bit I use ends up mixed in enough she doesn’t notice 🤭

My daughter went with it on rice. I went with a bowl and some bread for picking it up, including that gravy!
