Pork Green Chile Stew – Recipe from Made in New Mexico – π€ There are as many recipes for this as there are cooks! π€ͺ below, I’ll tell you what I did a little differently. I had half of a pork shoulder that I had already split for two meals. Other than that, I used my pressure cooker π AND slow cooker. To cut time in half. I’ve used different pork, like pork shoulder roast, and even pork chops. Actually, my local carniceria offers pork cut up just for this dish π What I use ends up being what was a good buy. π²π°π and good farm. By the way, mine keeps turning red because I add chipotle powder and diced tomatoes with green chilies π€ I’m ordering more New Mexico Green Chile Powder TODAY π

Mine – I seasoned and seared pork in pressure cooker/ninja foodi. Charred chile and onion. Added a cup of pork and chicken broth (I use homemade). I also tossed in tomatillos, onion, garlic, and seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, chipotle powder, and cumin). Pressure cooked for 55 minutes on high. While that was cooking, I made Spanish rice and refried beans. When pork was done, I placed it on a platter and shredded. Put pork in slow cooker on high. I added broth and vegetables from pressure cooker pot to blender and mixed. Then poured that over pork. Once heated through, I left it on warm. In our house people eat at different times. π₯°
