Grilled Chicken Legs and Thighs

I marinated the chicken all day first, in a mojo marinade.

Drank a bottle of water, put swimsuit on. It’s over 110° out. Took chicken out, rinsed, patted dry with paper towel, seasoned well, allow to come to room temperature. Cleaned and oiled grill grates. Heated grill. Turned burners on high on one side, leaving the other side flames low. Place chicken skin side down on the hot side of grill (although in this heat, every part of grill,  including the foundation it sits on his HOT 🔥🫠). A couple minutes or so, then flipped chicken over. Moved chicken to side with low flames, closed grill, and let cook for 20-25 minutes. Then I moved them back over flames to get desired doneness and charring, Flipping here and there, going by site. When thermometer reads 165°. Let rest a few minutes. Served these with potato salad and cole slaw 😋
