Easy Buttermilk Cornbread with Spicy Honey Butter

I did get my skillet with melted butter sizzling hot first. ๐Ÿซ  it made sweet crispy edges ๐Ÿ˜

And put honey butter on top while still hot ๐Ÿฏ ๐Ÿงˆ

Served with jambalaya ๐Ÿ˜‰

I watched him making it on video before, but now I can’t find that video ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ unless it was removed ๐Ÿค” However, he tells how in video at link. The next time, I did have green pepper ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿซ‘

 

 

With shrimp ๐Ÿค ๐Ÿ˜‹ โคต๏ธ

I used homemade stewed tomatoes and chicken broth from my freezer.ย 

Rinsed rice readyย 

I was also making broccoli salad and needed bacon ๐Ÿฅ“ for both ๐Ÿ˜‹ย 

Shrimp thawed ๐Ÿค ๐Ÿฆย 

Sooo much flavor!

I use garlic evoo all the time, so I tried the one infused with chili this time ๐ŸŒถ and old bay seasoning, fresh cracked pepper, bumped up flavor with more bouillon too, Better Than Bouillon chicken base, Knorr’s chicken bouillon,ย  and Knorr’s bouillon with tomato in it. Tastes great!ย 

I set my timer and stirred like Phil says, every 3 minutes until rice is done. Then add shrimp and that cooks quick.
