Steak Salad

I tried Gary’s Quick Steak for the first time. I was looking at proteins to go with salads & veggies (& a few necessities) at the grocery store (actually online, delivery 🤭) & spotted this AFTER looking at the price of #steak, $6 was worth a try. I looked up reviews, etc., first. Well, SCORE! This #salad is delicious! 😋 #steaksalad
I mixed #arugala with #romainelettuce 🥬, added cherry #tomatoes 🍅 #pickledredonion (bc I have to use it up), #parmesan shavings, & #avocado 🥑
I did “slightly” dress salad with evoo, sea salt & pepper. Everyone here likes their own dressing 🤪 then quickly seared steak to top it off. Yum!

Salad dressing can be a hard decision when you have good options. Granddaughter went with garlic/lemon 🍋🧄, daughter went with honey mustard 🍯 🥰 they all go well with this salad. I was so tempted by Girard’s Caesar dressing .We love that stuff. But, I’ll wait for a Caesar salad 🥗 Sure, I love a nice juicy steak, but let’s get real, the price of groceries (entire economy) is oppressing us. Make it work. This was after an early trip to the farmer’s market. 😍
