Cook pork sausage (I start mine with bacon fat ๐Ÿ˜œ), stirring to break up (I like to use a potato masher), add 1/4 cup flour, cook flour about 2 minutes, season (careful with salt ๐Ÿ˜ณ), generous with black pepper, crushed red pepper (optional); add milk (2-2 1/2 cps) a little at a time (med/high heat), stir as it thickens, until desired thickness.
